Nature of the collection of personal data
Users may be required to provide Pop Translation, as the data controller, with personal information and data concerning them, such as their name, first names, IP address, connection and navigation data and e-mail address. Some personal data are mandatory, others optional, to access or benefit from certain services on the Site, such as newsletters or contact forms. The compulsory or optional nature of the data is indicated at the time of collection by an asterisk. In the absence of communication of personal data of a mandatory nature, Pop Translation will not be able to respond to the user’s request.

This data may be communicated and/or transmitted, whether in return for payment or free of charge, to third parties linked to Pop translation by contract for the performance of subcontracted tasks necessary for the management of the Site, for logistical purposes, without the users’ consent. In the event of a proven breach of legal or regulatory provisions, this information may be communicated to the judicial authorities upon request.
Duration of storage of personal data
Personal data and/or information will be kept only for the duration of the commercial relationship and, beyond that, for a maximum period of 3 years following the end of the commercial relationship, except for legal archiving obligations and for purposes of proof and accounting obligations, for a period not exceeding the applicable legal prescription periods.
Exercise of rights

The user may also define directives concerning the fate of his personal data in the event of his death. These rights can be exercised on his personal space on the site https://poptranslation.com by connecting to it using his email address and password that he gave when he registered.
Finally, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with a control authority. For security reasons and in order to avoid any fraudulent request, we may ask you to provide proof of identity with the request. After processing the request, this proof will be destroyed.
Transfer of data outside the European Union
As some of our partners are located outside the European Union, the data collected may be transferred to countries outside the European Union, whose legislation on the protection of personal data differs from that of the European Union, it being specified that in the event that the recipient country or countries do not ensure a level of data protection equivalent to that of the European Union, Pop Translation undertakes to take all appropriate safeguards, either on the basis of an adequacy decision or, in the absence of such a decision, on the basis of appropriate safeguards envisaged by communicating a copy of the binding internal rules, standard contractual clauses adopted, code of conduct or certification mechanism duly approved by the competent authority.
